GRIT Investigations – Terms & Conditions
1. Age Restrictions
1.1 No person under 18 may attend unless specified otherwise.
1.2 Proof of age may be requested. Failure to provide ID may result in refusal of entry without
refund.
2. Health, Accessibility, and Suitability
2.1 The Venue may not be suitable for individuals with certain physical or psychological conditions.
2.2 Attendance is at your own discretion and risk.
2.3 By attending, you confirm you are medically and psychologically fit.
2.4 No responsibility is accepted for adverse reactions before, during, or after the event.
2.5 Guests are encouraged to request further venue information prior to booking if unsure.
3. Pregnancy
3.1 Heavily pregnant individuals are not permitted.
3.2 Early-stage pregnancy attendance is at your own risk.
3.3 No liability is accepted for injury, distress, complications or loss.
4. Behaviour and Conduct
4.1 Guests must behave responsibly.
4.2 Disruptive or dangerous behaviour will result in removal without refund.
4.3 Assault or harassment will be reported.
4.4 Removal may result in a permanent ban.
4.5 Event Host and/or Property Manager retains full authority on site.
5. Substance Policy
5.1 Zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs.
5.2 Entry may be refused without the requirement to provide proof.
5.3 No refunds in such cases.
6. Smoking, Fire, and Safety
6.1 Strictly non-smoking including vaping.
6.2 Open flames and smoke devices prohibited unless authorised.
6.3 Breach may result in removal without refund.
7. Clothing, Equipment, and Facilities
7.1 Appropriate clothing required.
7.2 Sleeping facilities not provided unless stated.
7.3 No responsibility for discomfort due to lack of preparation.
8. Assumption of Risk & Exclusion of Liability
8.1 Attendance is at your own risk.
8.2 No liability accepted for injury, psychological harm, property loss, accidents, environmental
hazards, or alleged paranormal phenomena.
8.3 Nothing excludes liability for death or injury caused by negligence where unlawful to exclude.
9. Paranormal Activity Disclaimer
9.1 No guarantees of paranormal activity.
9.2 Experiences may vary.
9.3 No responsibility for effects attributed to alleged paranormal activity.
10. Indemnity
10.1 Attendees agree to indemnify the Event Host, GRIT Investigations, Property Manager and
Property Owner against claims arising from participation, injury, property damage or breach of
terms.
11. Insurance
11.1 Public liability insurance is maintained where applicable.
11.2 Guests are advised to hold personal insurance.
11.3 Team-led bookings must hold £5,000,000 public liability insurance. Proof may be required.
12. Property & Vehicles
12.1 No responsibility accepted for personal belongings or vehicles.
13. Cancellations by GRIT Investigations
13.1 Guests offered refund or transfer if event cancelled.
13.2 Travel/accommodation costs not reimbursed.
13.3 Property Manager may reassign events if required.
14. Cancellations by Guests
14.1 Deposits non-refundable.
14.2 Cancellations over one month prior may receive refund minus deposit.
14.3 Within one month non-refundable unless resold.
15. Weather Conditions
15.1 Events may be affected by weather.
15.2 Events may be relocated or cancelled without liability for associated costs.
16. Mediums and Investigators
16.1 Statements represent personal opinion only.
16.2 Guests must exercise independent judgement.
17. Data Protection
17.1 Personal data processed in accordance with UK GDPR.
18. Recording & Media
18.1 Recording permitted for personal/promotional use.
18.2 Event Host and/or Property Manager may require removal of content.
18.3 Failure to comply may result in removal.
18.4 Intellectual property rights remain reserved.
19. Team-Led Bookings (Additional Provisions)
19.1 Booking lead responsible for conduct and safety.
19.2 Participants must comply with instructions.
19.3 No damage or interference permitted.
19.4 Damage charged in full.
19.5 Only safe equipment allowed.
19.6 Unsafe methods prohibited.
19.7 Authority retained to terminate.
19.8 No guarantees regarding paranormal outcomes.
20. Refreshments
20.1 Snacks may be provided; allergens not guaranteed.
20.2 Consumed at your own risk.
21. Governing Law
21.1 Governed by the laws of England and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England.
22. Acceptance
22.1 Booking or attendance constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
