Team Hosting Policy

Middlegate Paranormal Experiences Premium Paranormal Venue Hosting Agreement: 25 Middlegate, The Headland, Hartlepool

This Agreement governs the hosting of ticketed Paranormal
Investigation Events (“Event”) at the above property (“Venue”). This Agreement is entered into between: Pete Noble trading as Middlegate Paranormal Experiences (“Property Manager”), acting with the full authority and consent of the Property Owner of 25 Middlegate, Hartlepool, and The Investigation Team / Event Organiser (“Organiser”). By confirming a booking date, the Organiser agrees to the following legally binding terms.

1. Booking & Authority

1.1 All Event bookings must be requested via the designated booking and coordination
administrator acting on behalf of the Property Manager.
1.2 Upon confirmation, the Event will be published via the official booking platform.
1.3 The Organiser will be listed as the Hosting Investigation Team for that Event.
1.4 The Property Manager retains full control of the Venue calendar and reserves the right to
decline or reschedule bookings at its discretion.
1.5 Nothing within this Agreement grants the Organiser any tenancy, lease, licence of occupation,
or proprietary interest in the Venue beyond the agreed Event duration.

2. Commercial Structure

2.1 Each Event carries a £300 Venue & Administration Fee.
2.2 This fee covers venue provision, booking coordination, operational management and
associated administration.
2.3 The £300 fee will be deducted from gross ticket revenue.
2.4 Ticket prices must not be set below £30 per attendee without written approval from the Property
Manager.
2.5 Maximum public attendees: 15 persons per Event (excluding Investigation Team members).
2.6 Recommended supervision ratio: no more than 3 attendees per 1 Team member.
2.7 Revenue Surplus (gross ticket revenue minus £300) will be paid within 7–10 working days
following the Event.
2.8 If total ticket revenue does not meet the £300 Venue Fee, the Organiser remains liable for the
shortfall.

3. Insurance Requirements

3.1 The Organiser must provide evidence of valid Public Liability Insurance with a minimum
indemnity limit of £5,000,000.
3.2 Insurance documentation must be submitted no later than 7 days prior to the Event date.
3.3 Failure to provide valid insurance may result in cancellation of the Event.

4. Active Renovation Site Acknowledgement

4.1 The Venue is undergoing renovation and remains an active building site.
4.2 The Organiser accepts responsibility for ensuring that all attendees are supervised appropriately within the operational condition of the property.

4.3 No tools, materials, coverings, fixtures or structural elements may be moved, altered or interfered with without written consent.

5. Conduct & Operational Restrictions

The following are prohibited unless expressly authorised in writing:
- Alcohol consumption
- Open flames (including candles or incense)
- Smoke machines
- Fixing, drilling or attaching equipment to walls, ceilings or fixtures
- Removal or relocation of materials
- Live streaming or broadcast without prior consent
5.1 Noise must be controlled at all times in consideration of neighbouring residential properties.
5.2 Entry and exit from the Venue during late hours must be conducted quietly and respectfully.
5.3 The Property Manager reserves the right to immediately halt or terminate an Event if conduct risks neighbour complaint, reputational harm, safety concerns, or property damage.

6. Ticketing & Promotion

6.1 All ticket sales must be processed through the designated official booking platform. (www.gritne.co.uk)
6.2 Independent cash sales or third-party ticketing without written authorisation are prohibited.
6.3 Unauthorised ticket sales may result in forfeiture of Revenue Surplus and termination of current or future bookings.
6.4 The Organiser is responsible for promoting their Event using the official booking link provided.

7. Media & Intellectual Property

7.1 The Organiser retains ownership of imagery, recordings and footage captured during the Event.
7.2 The Organiser grants the Property Manager and Property Owner a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use such media for marketing and promotional purposes relating to the Venue.
7.3 Media must not portray the Venue in a defamatory, misleading or structurally damaging context.

8. Attendee Declarations

8.1 All attendees (including Team Members) must complete the official Attendee Waiver &
Declaration prior to entry.
8.2 Entry will be refused to any individual who has not completed the required documentation.

9. Nature of Event

9.1 Events are provided strictly as an entertainment experience.
9.2 No guarantee of paranormal activity is made or implied.
9.3 The Organiser must not advertise guaranteed outcomes or make misleading claims regarding
results.

10. Indemnity

10.1 The Organiser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Property Owner and the Property Manager against any claims, losses, injuries (physical or psychological), damages or liabilities arising from:
- Participation in the Event
- Alleged paranormal phenomena
- Emotional distress
- Accidents occurring during the Event
- Actions of attendees or Team members

11. Cancellation, Breach & Reassignment

11.1 If the Organiser cancels within 14 days of the Event date, the £300 Venue Fee remains
payable.
11.2 If cancelled more than 14 days in advance, the Venue Fee may be transferred to one
alternative date within 3 months (subject to availability).
11.3 The Property Manager reserves the right to cancel an Event due to breach of these terms,
safety concerns, reputational risk, neighbour complaint, or operational necessity.
11.4 Where an Event is publicly listed or fully booked and the Organiser’s conduct warrants
cancellation, the Property Manager retains the right to reassign the Event to an alternate
Investigation Team to deliver and host under the existing booking.

12. Professional Standards

12.1 Organisers must maintain professional conduct before, during and after the Event.
12.2 Defamation, interference with other Events, social media misconduct, or behaviour likely to
damage the Venue’s reputation may result in termination of current and future bookings.

By confirming a booking date, the Organiser acknowledges and agrees to the above terms.
