Cancellation Policy

Insurance Requirement All team bookings must hold their own valid public liability insurance, covering paranormal investigations and associated activities. Proof of insurance may be requested prior to or on the night of the booking. Failure to provide proof may result in cancellation without refund. Responsibility & Supervision The booking team leader is responsible for: The conduct, safety, and actions of all team members Ensuring all participants comply fully with G.R.I.T Investigations’ Terms & Conditions Ensuring no unauthorised individuals enter the location Venue Respect & Protection No damage, alteration, or interference with the building, fixtures, furnishings, or contents is permitted. No moving of furniture, covering mirrors, marking floors, walls, or doors without prior approval. Any damage caused will be charged to the booking team. Equipment & Methods All equipment used must be safe, legal, and non-invasive. The use of candles, naked flames, smoke devices, chemicals, powders, or substances of any kind is strictly prohibited. Electrical equipment must be in safe working order. Behaviour & Professional Conduct Provocation, taunting, aggressive calling-out, or intentionally distressing behaviour (towards people, spirits, or the environment) is not permitted. Any behaviour deemed unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive will result in immediate termination of the investigation without refund. Substances & Fitness to Investigate Zero tolerance applies to alcohol, drugs, or impairment of any kind. Any team member suspected of being under the influence will result in removal of the individual or entire team if necessary. Health, Safety & Risk Acceptance Team members acknowledge they are entering a historic, low-light environment with inherent risks. Participation is entirely at their own risk, and G.R.I.T Investigations accepts no liability for injury, psychological effects, or loss or damage to equipment or personal property. Authority of G.R.I.T Investigations G.R.I.T Investigations staff retain full authority on-site at all times. Instructions given by staff must be followed immediately.
